The Town of Greenburgh is working with Congresswoman Lowey's office and the US Postal Service so residents of the l0607 and 10603 zips (White Plains address) can have a Greenburgh address. The US Postal Service will be conducting a survey of residents. Frank Jazzo, town historian, reports that on Feb 20, 1833 Greenburgh had a post office known by several names: Saw Mill River, Greensburgh and later Greenburgh. That post office was only in operation until 1838.
