TRIPS

Hudson River Museum
March 3rd, Wednesday 12:00-3:00
Meet Janine Gordon, sculptor, who sculpted a giant sturgeon. View the documentary “Sturgeon –Ancient Survivors of the Deep” Enjoy samples of smoked sturgeon. We will eat lunch at the museum. Pay for lunch and program fee ($1.50) day of the trip. Deadline March 1st.


Hudson River Museum
March 17th , Wednesday 12:00-3:00
St. Patrick’s Day in Yonkers History and in song. Tom Flynn gives a glimpse of how St. Patrick’s Say has been celebrated in Yonkers. Vocalist Kim Brendan performs Irish songs popular through decades. We will eat lunch at the museum. Program Fee $1.50Pay day of trip. Deadline March 10th .

Play at White Plains Performing Arts  Center
March  31st, Wednesday 1:00pm-3:00pm
See a musical comedy show “Fashion” at a very special price. Fee $20.00  Deadline: March 10th

Atlantic City
March 22nd Monday
We will visit Showboat Casino Fee: $20.00 Deadline March 15th.

 Bronx Botanical Garden
April 15th Thursday 10:00am – 3:30
Enjoy the spring Tulips & Daffodils at their height of bloom. Then visit Arthur Ave & lunch at a local restaurant. Pay for everything day of trip.

Play at Helen Hayes Theatre

“Stoop on Delancey Place” A delightful musical that enjoyed a long off Broadway run. Fee: $45.00, Deadline: March 30th 

Gracie Mansion & The Frick Museum
April 28th, Wednesday
See the newly renovated upstairs at the Mansion; lunch at “The Mark”, a beautiful midtown Hotel dining room and then on to The Frick Museum. Fee: $45.00 Deadline March 16th.

Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge
May 12th, Wednesday 8:30 – 6:00pm
Visit the museum & lunch at the Historic Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge. Fee $50.00 Deadline April 21st

Trip  to Brooklyn Museum
May 27th, Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm
We will see the recently completed “front stairs” to the Main entrance of the museum. A Docent will conduct a tour of the permanent Egyptian exhibit. Time will be allotted to visit other museum galleries; Lunch at the museum. If time permits we will visit a new nearby trendy neighborhood. Fee includes transportation, entrance fee, and docent.
 Fee: $25.00 Deadline: April 22nd.


Modigliani Show at the Jewish Museum
June 22nd, Tuesday 9:45-3:30
Enjoy Almedeo Modigliano’s full scale retrospective & visit the museums new media center. We will eat lunch at the museum. Fee: 15:00 Deadline April 22nd.

 

NOTICE

All Greenburgh Residents must have a UniCard to register for January classes.
UniCards are $5.00 for seniors and $15.00 for non-resident seniors and can be purchased in the Registration Building. Residents should purchase their UniCard prior to Dec 8th to assure their class preferences. Non - residents can register for classes after December 8th.


New Policy:  The Staff will not call participants for upcoming trips to confirm departure and arrival times. We will call if there is a change in scheduled departure and arrival times. (Scheduled in newsletter and on confirmation acceptance post card)

For Refunds: Please fill out a refund form, which are available at the reception desk.

SERVICES

Social Services Available
Every Thursday 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Joe Murphy, MSW, social worker from the Westchester Clearing House, will be available to help with your social concerns–housing-medical-health-psychological-anything of interest to you. He will be at the Multipurpose Center every Friday.
