Greenburgh 4th grader advances to round 4 -national spelling bee competition

Harshita Chet, a 4th grade student who attends the Greenburgh Central School district, advances to Round 4 in the National Spelling bee championships. She's an amazing young girl --one of many intelligent students who attend Greenburgh schools.
Harshita is putting Greenburgh on the map! Wish her good luck and great success tomorrow. Students at Bailey Elementary School will be watching the competition on ESPN tomorrow morning!

Greenburgh Central School District's Harshita Shet has advanced to Round 4. She has now surpassed her predecessor, who reached Round 3. Round 4 will air on ESPN tomorrow morning. The students at Bailey will watch the Spelling Bee tomorrow in the school's auditorium.

Harshita’s interests include music, arts, crafts and Bollywood dance. She also has brown belt in karate. Even though her best subjects in school are science and math, she wants to be a lawyer and a teacher when she grows up and plans to attend Harvard to help her achieve that dream. At home, she has set up an aquarium to house her many fish and her hermit crab, Kirby. In school, she wrote a biographical piece about First Lady Michelle Obama and dreams of meeting her in person while in Washington, D.C., for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
