I received the following letter from the secretary to the Fairview Fire district. I do not know how one of the candidates names was emboldened when the other candidates names were not--the town e list will not be used to promote or oppose any candidates for fire commissioner. It hope that voters in the Greenville, Fairview and Hartsdale fire districts will vote for the candidates of their choice on Tuesday afternoon or evening. The Fire Commissioners approve the budgets and tax rates for each of the paid fire districts. The town has no oversight responsibility for the fire districts.
Dear Mr. Feiner:
The Fairview Fire District received a copy of the election information that you provided via the Town’s gblist. The information that you provided is not in the form that the Fairview Fire District provided to you. By emboldening the name of one candidate for fire commissioner, you may have performed a disservice or harm to the other candidates whose names were not emboldened.
