Hundreds of people have enjoyed an annual event in Yorktown Heights that I think the town should consider sponsoring next year --a Jingle Bells Electric Lights holiday parade in early December. We could invite different ethnic and religious groups and civic organizations as well as residents who would like to show off a creative float to participate in the parade.
A holiday parade is a way to continue to encourage people to participate in our community and it could also help local businesses.
If you're interested in being part of a Jingle Bells Electric Lights Holiday Parade in 2015 - let me know.

ANOTHER INTERESTING IDEA FROM BAYONNE, NJ: RECYCLING CHRISTMAS POTTED CHRISMAS TREES-- REPLANTING THEM IN PARKS?
What do you think of this idea for Greenburgh?
Anyone have potted trees that you'd like to donate to the town after the holidays?
