Received some phone calls and e mails from residents who want to know what to do with Christmas trees, now that the holidays are over. Leave them at the curb. The town picks up the trees similar to the leaf bag system. If you have any questions please call 993-1576.
I'd like to experiment with this interesting concept tried in Bayonne, NJ- recycling Christmas trees that are potted. If you have a potted tree that you would like to donate to the town, please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. It would be nice if these trees can be planted to make Greenburgh greener!
