TOMORROW EVENINGS FORUM FOR RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATES OUT OF WORK OR LOOKING FOR BETTER OPPORTUNITIES
GREENBURGH LIBRARY   6 TO 8 PM

As promised, we are having the first networking event for what we are calling the Westchester Young Professionals Networking Group. It will be held on Tuesday January 31 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Greenburgh Public LIbrary at 300 Tarrytown Road Elmsford, NY.
The event will open with a short meet and greet to give everyone a chance to settle in and get acquainted. Afterward everyone will find seats and Career Coach Diana DeCubellis will address the group to provide some job search advice and guidance. There will be time for questions after her presentation. After the presentation and Q &A we will open it up to begin the networking portion of the evening so bring your business cards and any other materials you can.

There will be recent college graduates, young professionals, and older professionals attending and the event if free and open to the public. Feel free to invite and bring friends, family members, etc.
Michael Sacks is organizing the event. He prepared a  you tube video publicizing the event.

FREE WEBINAR IF YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT INTERNATIONAL LEGAL ISSUES RAISED BY PRESIDENT TRUMP
You might be interested in a free webinar series being organized by the American Society of International Law (ASIL) to educate laypersons and lawyers about important international legal issues raised by possible actions Donald Trump has said (sometimes promised) he may take.

The series is called 100 Ways (taken from an ASIL publication titled 100 Ways International Law Shapes Our Lives) and can be found at
https://www.asil.org/100days?sid=2938

The first webinar will be February 1 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm EST (Washington, DC time).  It will address treaty law, including regarding withdrawal from treaties such as NAFTA (which is both a congressional-executive agreement and a US statute). The speakers are well-known experts and are bipartisan.

Quite apart from whether one agrees with the policy goals behind Trump's executive order on immigration, the debacle caused by implementing that order makes three things evident:  details matter when changing policie. The public needs to have access to info about these details.

The webinar series is intended to educate about such details with respect to several of Trump's promised international policy changes.
