Our Lady of Pompeii Church is holding their annual spaghetti dinner today from 1 PM to 6 PM. The church is located at 95 Palisade Street in Dobbs Ferry --a charming church overlooking the scenic Hudson River in a beautiful village. This spaghetti is delicious. If you attend the dinner you will feel like you're in Italy. The dinner, which attracts a loyal following from around the region (and is a must for public officials to attend), also reminds you of what community used to be. If you are in a nostalgic mood and want to forget the troubles of the world for an hour or so, this dinner is definitely something you'll enjoy.
I stopped by at the church yesterday afternoon and am attaching some of the photos --some of the dedicated volunteers preparing for todays dinner.
