The Town of Greenburgh will hold a brief ceremony Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Veteran Park to remember the 10 Greenburgh residents who died on September 11, 2001.

The ceremony, to be held at the 9/11 Memorial Garden at the Multi-Purpose Center at the park, will include a lowering of the American flag by a color guard from the Greenburgh Police Department, the playing of Taps and a 21-gun salute.  Brenda Connor-Bey, Greenburgh’s new Poet Laureate will make a brief  presentation.

All members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony. Veteran Park is located at 11 Olympic Lane in Ardsley.
