Disabled treehouse.....Police Board
Release Date: September 24, 2003

There was a very moving article in yesterdays Wall Street Journal about a company in Vermont that builds handicapped accessible treehouses in parks. The company, Forever Young Treehouses, has built 4 structures in Vermont and one in Connecticut. I would love to see the town look into the possibility of providing disabled Greenburgh residents with such a treehouse and will be asking the Parks Board to look into this. In addition, I will start reaching out to private foundations to see if we could raise outside funds to meet this goal.  Any suggestions? email me.
