Bridge to be fixed by october 7th (CROSS ROAD BRIDGE -ARDSLEY/SPRAIN RD)

Good news! The Cross Road Bridge will be re-opened by October 7th. Repairs will take place next week. The bridge closed down after the recent storms. Sorry for all the inconveniences residents have been experiencing.

The Town received a draft evaluation report from our consulting engineers regarding the status of the Cross Road Bridge. Luckily, the consultant found no significant structural defects. Based upon this evaluation, the Town will engage a contractor next week to perform the needed repairs. At this time I cannot provide an exact date that the bridge will re-open. I am hopeful the contractor will be able to start immediately and have the project completed by or before October 7.
