cablevision/verizon out? Veterans day Sunday at 1

1,505 customers are still out according to the Con Edison web site. Progress--yes, unless you are still one of the 1,505 customers. Hopefully, most (would prefer all) will have power restored tomorrow.
My land line (Verizon phone) has been out since the hurricane. I have been too busy dealing with Con Ed power outages to focus attention on the lack of phone service in our area. If you have had problems with cablevision or Verizon please advise by e mailing me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com.

...on another note: Veteran's Day is Sunday. The Town will honor veterans at 1 PM at the Hartsdale train station, DeSanti Plaza.
