YOU'RE INVITED TO OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH MEETING ON WEDNESDAY MAY 1ST AT 6:30 PM TO 7:30 PM AT HARTSBROOK NATURE PRESERVE (RAIN DATE, MAY 6TH AT THE SAME TIME) Over the years the town has held an annual community outreach meeting at Hartsbrook Nature Preserve. The purpose: to chat with residents informally and to hear from you about issues you're concerned about. We will also have a short hike around the trails from 6:30 pm to 7:30 PM. Hartsbrook is located off of Ridge Road (across from Ridge Park). If you're free and can join us, your presence would be greatly appreciated. Let us know what we can do better and how we can make visiting our parks a more enjoyable experience for you and your family.

During the spring and summer we plan to schedule other community at different parks around town. E mail your concerns and suggestions about town programs, services to townboard@greenburghny.com.

Over the years lots of people have contacted me expressing the hope that Central Ave will become more pedestrian friendly. I am very pleased that NYS is currently involved in installing new sidewalks along a good portion of Central Avenue. These new sidewalks will make it easier for pedestrians to safely walk along the avenue. The need for more sidewalks on the Avenue has been one of the major quality of life concerns expressed by residents of Hartsdale/Edgemont/Greenburgh. We're appreciative that NYS has listened and that they are responding!

NEW RESIDENTS RECEPTION MAY 8 Our annual new residents reception will be held on Wednesday May 8 at 6 PM. New residents and potential new residents are invited to join us.
