Know For Sure Your Child is Safe on the Road– Get Your Car Seat Checked
National Child Passenger Safety Week
(September 15 – 21, 2013)
The Greenburgh Police Department, along with other local Police Departments, will conduct a child safety seat check-up event on 09-21-13 at the Midway Shopping Center (ShopRite) 1001 S. Central Park Ave. Scarsdale (Greenburgh), NY. Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand from 10am-2pm to check car seats for proper installation and advise parents and caregivers on how to choose the right car seats and install them properly in their vehicles. The event, which is free to the public, is part of the Greenburgh Police Department’s participation in a statewide effort during National Child Passenger Safety Week (Sept. 15-21) and National Seat Check Saturday to improve the safety of New York’s children.
