During the past few years the Library's heating system broke down during the cold winter months - causing the library to close when it was freezing. Some residents complained about the lack of comfort in the building during the cold winter months. At Tuesday's Town Board work session the Board will retain OLA Consulting Engineers to design a supplemental boiler system at the Greenburgh library for an amount not to exceed $23,100.
We want the library to be open during announced hours and want to minimize the possibility of heating problems.
