Greetings everyone,
This is Braeden Cohen, Compost/Sustainability Specialist at the Greenburgh Nature Center. Sorry if you've already received an email about this, but its a small price to pay for a well run campaign.
I am leading a student led documentary campaign called "1 Camera, 2 Hours: How many bags?". For a quick summary, I am asking students to go around with a camera and take pictures of plastic bags that are littering the community and environment. Each participant will construct a visual representation of their two hours and highlight the number of bags. The campaign will culminate in a exhibition at the GNC, on March 1, where a select number of participants will have their work displayed, along with the signatures they gathered for the petition in each district.
I am looking for any students or faculty that you think would like to participate and/or help organize the project in their school district/community. It doesn't matter the which faculty- this is an interdisciplinary project which spans the arts and sciences. Every name/contact will bring us closer to success.
