Slamin, the head of the Greenburgh Public Library's Children's Department, is set to retire on Jan. 10, 2014. To honor Slamin's service, the Greenburgh Public Library is hosting an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. The open house is sponsored by the Friends of the Greenburgh Public Library.
Beth and Scott Bierko will perform a concert for children of all ages and Slamin will receive an honor before and after the show.
