Release Date: February 09, 2005

The Greenburgh Library has scheduled informational presentations on the 20 million proposed library expansion at the Greenburgh Library:
Saturday, February 12 at 11 AM…Tuesday Feb 15 at
11 AM…Wednesday Feb 16 at 7:30 PM…Tuesday, March 1 at 4 PM…Wednesday, March 9th at 11 AM..SaturdayMarch 12 at 2 PM…Thursday, March 17th at 7:30 PM.

The Poets Corner Civic Association will be holding an information meeting on the library for residents of that neighborhood on Tuesday, March 8th.

I’d like to see more meetings in neighborhoods around town so that people can be informed and have questions and/or concerns addressed. I favor a November referendum. But, most of the members of the Town Board prefer a spring referendum. So –we may be running out of time before you, the voters, will make the decision on whether to approve or reject the proposed 20 million dollar expansion.  If interested in scheduling a house meeting/neighborhood meeting please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. I will coordinate meetings with the library.  PAUL FEINER
