Bob Bernstein, who filed a lawsuit against the town to require the villages to pay for the Taxter Ridge park acquisition, said at Tuesday nights Town Board meeting that his legal challenge could result in the town revisiting the issue of opening up all town parks, including the town pool, to village residents and having residents of all the villages pay for all the recreation programs in the town.  Mr. Bernstein also threatened that a taxpayer may seek an injunction to prevent tax bills from being sent out on time if we did not take the action steps he is requesting re: town-wide funding of park acquisitions/maintenance. I believe that representatives of both the villages and unincorporated sections of town should be part of the review process re: allocation of funds in the A & B budgets.  A special meeting to consider amending various expenditures in the 2005 adopted budgetre: Taxter Ridge park land has been set for Thursday at 7:00 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall. The Town Board also agreed to modify the resolution re: May 10^th referendum to permit absentee ballots in the 20 million libraryexpansion. During the past week I have expressed my concern that the disabled, military would not be able to vote by absentee ballot.  PAUL FEINER
