BEING RUNNER UP CREATES FUTURE CHAMPIONS...
The Town of Greenburgh, and the United Nations Association/United States of America (UNA-USA), Westchester, will jointly sponsor the Town of Greenburgh’s Annual Women’s History Month Celebration on Wednesday, March 25th, at 5:30pm in the Main Auditorium of Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue, White Plains/Greenburgh, NY 10607.
We will be “spotlighting” women, locally, who have helped improve the quality of life for others.
Guest Speaker: Dr. Brenda L. Galloway Smith, Non-Government Organization Representative to the United Nations and former Superintendent, Mount Vernon City School District, will share highlights of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women conference, presently taking place at the UN and she will speak to the issue of human trafficking of girls and women, an issue that has the potential for affecting us, locally.
Refreshments and entertainment beginning at 5:30; program to begin at 6:30pm. This is a free event and open to the public. Please confirm your attendance. Thank you.
