Reminder: Take a Hike! Enjoy one of our hikes. If you drive on Ridge Road you might have seen the Hart's Brook park-=which is across the street from Ridge Road park. This park, which was acquired by the town, county and state early on in my tenure, is one of the most beautiful parks in the town--with open space and a great nature trail in the woods. You will think you're in paradise when you're walking the trails....Saturday, May 2 @ 1pm (Rain Date, Sunday, May 3rd)

41 years ago I got my start in politics when I chaired the Westchester County Task Force for Bikeways which successfully lobbied for the first bikeway in Westchester. Former County Executive Al Del Bello appointed me to his Bikeway Task Force and we recommended the closing of the Bronx River Parkway on Sundays. I am pleased that bicycle Sundays continues to be very popular. Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway starts this Sunday --the 41st year!

Bicycle Sundays 2015 are:

May 3, 10, 17 & 31

June 7, 14, 21 & 28

September 13, 20 & 27

Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
