WANTED:new committee to make budget easier to read
Release Date: April 07, 2005

Is the budget of the town difficult to understand or read?  How can we make the budget document easier to comprehend and analyze? I’m forming a citizens committee to work with me and the Town Comptroller so that when future budgets are presented to the Town Board and community that the document  be easier to review. Want to serve on the committee? Please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. If you can’t serve but have some suggestions please contact me.

JASON CARAVAGLIA NAMED EMPLOYEE OF THE DECADE--- Police Officer Jason Caravaglia was responsible for setting up the first child safety seat inspection station in the state. His efforts and the child safety seat inspection station have received national attention and praise. The Child Safety Seat Inspection Station in Greenburgh is a model for programs around the country –and has been responsible for saving many lives. Unfortunately, Jason will be moving to Virginia ( I wasn’t able to persuade the Town to seek an injunction to stop him from moving!). In recognition of his incredible efforts, superb service to the community, hard work and terrific organization skills I’m planning to recognize Jason as our Employee of the Decade at the next Town Board meeting  -- April 13th at 7:15 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall.
