David Dwinell, Receiver of Taxes, has advised me that the last day to pay town & county taxes is Monday, May 2^nd  by 7 PM. Mr. Dwinell has decided to keep his office open till 7 PMas a convenience to residents. Usually, taxes are due on April 30^th. However, since April 30^th falls on a Saturday the taxes will be due on the following Monday, May 2^nd. If you are late there is a 2% penalty. You can pay on line until midnightMay 2^nd—with no service charge.
