The Greenburgh Town Board is expected to vote on Wednesday to adopt a Local Law amending the Town Code to include Motor Vehicle Sales Uses and Motor Vehicle Sales Lots as a Special Permit Use in the Central Avenue Mixed-Use Impact (CA) District. New car dealerships will be allowed on Central Ave --helping to generate significant additional tax revenue for the town, fire and school districts. Yesterday's Posh Pets Rescue was a success. Six adoptions took place. 4 adult cats and 2 kittens were adopted. Others offered to help Post Pets Rescue save more cats from bad situations in the future.
Musical entertainment includes headliner Bobby Doowah, Welt from the Jewish Community of France, Westchester Klezmer, Cantor Randy Herman with members of Kol Hazzanim and Nafshenu Orchestra; featuring Israeli dancing by Camp Zeke, family entertainment including face painting and balloon artistry by Maria and children’s activities with PJ Library. Kosher food will be available for purchase and vendor exhibition will consist of Jewish art and Judaica.
