PUBLIC HEARING TOMORROW EVENING ON 2016 TENTATIVE BUDGET --FIRST OF A SERIES OF HEARINGS
Release Date: November 29, 2015

The Greenburgh Town Board will hold a public hearing on the tentative 2016 budget that I submitted in October tomorrow evening (Monday) November 30th  at 7:30 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall. The proposed budget complies with the NYS tax cap which limits tax hikes. The tax hike is the lowest in years - less than one half of one percent in the A budget and barely over 1% in the B budget (unincorporated Greenburgh). And, the town has maintained our Aaa bond rating -which other communities don't have or have lost in recent years. A link to the budget follows. Our meetings are streamed live on the website: www.greenburghny.com and on public access TV. We value your feedback.  The members of the Greenburgh Town Board have until December 20th to approve a final budget and to make modifications in the proposed budget.
