3rd Grader's at Highview Elementary School in Hartsdale have new friends: robots!

The Greenburgh school district is preparing our youth for the future. Third grader's at Highview Elementary school in Hartsdale
have engaged in an International coding competition. We are one of 1,100 teams competing to go to Universal Studios. Our team is doing EXCEPTIONALLY well. This is one of many initiatives taking place in the school district to prepare students for jobs that will be needed in the workplace in the future. By starting the training early students at the Greenburgh schools will have a competitive advantage over students who attend schools that don't teach students robotics.

There is a contested election for Hartsdale Fire Commissioner on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Hartsdale Fire Station No. 2, 300 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, Town of Greenburgh, County of Westchester, State of New York, for the following purpose:
To elect one (1) Fire Commissioner for a term of five (5) years . Polls are open from 3-9 PM
The polls shall remain open for the purpose of receiving ballots of those qualified to vote during the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
To be qualified to vote at this election, voter must be
1. A citizen of the United States
2. A resident in the Hartsdale Fire District for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding an election.
3. A registered voter in the County under permanent personal registration
