270 TICKETS ISSUED ON KNOLLWOOD ROAD HUNDREDS PARTICIPATE IN WALK AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE IN HASTINGS
Release Date: December 12, 2015

Our digital message board has been moving around  town advising residents how many tickets have been issued on different streets within the town. The sign board is now in front of 103 Knollwood Road --270 tickets were issued at this location (near Acme) since the beginning of the year.  Drive carefully!  We don't want you to be the 271st recipient of a traffic ticket.

There was a great turnout this afternoon in Hastings  at the  Orange Walk to End Gun Violence. A few hundred people showed up and walked from the middle school to the Hillside Elementary School.  The walk is happening alongside similar walks across the country to bring awareness and solidarity to this very pressing issue.

On January 12th, the newly-formed Rivertowns chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America announces their first event here in Hastings. There will be an open meeting held at 7:30 PM at the Hastings on Hudson Community Center on how to get involved. Meeting is open to residents of Greenburgh.
