New York's Presidential Primary Voter Registration Deadline

Iowa's primary was Tuesday and New Hampshire is next week!  Let’s make sure that our participation in the upcoming Presidential Primary is unprecedented!  Greenburgh Town Clerk Judith Beville advises:
 
The New York State Presidential Primary is Tuesday, April 19, 2016.    While we have a few months, let’s not allow the deadline to catch us by surprise.  If you are not a registered voter and wish to become one, you must complete the New York State Voter Registration Application.  If registering by mail, it must be postmarked no later than March 25, 2016 and received by the Board of Elections no later thanMarch 30th, 2016 in order for you to be eligible to vote in the Primary.  If you register in person at the local Board of Elections, you must do so by March 25th.   Applications may be obtained from the Office of the Town Clerk, Town of Greenburgh, 177 Hillside Avenue, White Plains, NY  10607, or from any Village Clerk’s office as well as the local Board of Elections located at 25 Quarropas Street in the City of White Plains.  Applications will also be sent to high schools and other locations, however, this information must be obtained by calling the Board of Elections at (914) 995-5704.
