Carter Foundation tomorrow- Thursday, April 21st from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Tarrytown. Bill Carter passed away earlier this year. He was a terrific Commissioner and leader of the Theodore Young Community Center. He motivated many young people to become productive members of society. He turned lives around- for the better. He really cared about our children. Who knows…one of the students the William L. Carter inspiration program may mentor may one day become a Nobel Prize winner, Pulitzer Prize winner, Governor or President of the United States. The William L. Carter Inspiration program is generating lots of interest from people who want to continue the great work that William Carter was involved in. I’ve agreed to mentor a young person and hope you will too. We’re also going to provide students with scholarships so they can continue their education.
