Closing scheduled for Paws Crossed for Thursday around 3:30 PM
Release Date: June 01, 2016

Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, a no kill animal shelter is expected to become the new owners of the Elmsford Animal Shelter tomorrow (Thursday).  A closing has been scheduled for 3:30 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall.  Pet's Alive, a no kill shelter, closed the facility in September of last year. They will turn the property over to the town of Greenburgh. And we will immediately deed the property to Paw's Crossed.  We are thrilled that the shelter will continue to serve the needs of animal lovers and pet's.  And, am very impressed with the dedicated volunteers who are working so hard to make Paws Crossed new shelter a big success.  I'm confident that they will do a fantastic job.  A special thank you to the members of the Greenburgh Town Board -Francis Sheehan, Diana Juettner, Ken Jones and Kevin Morgan for their hard work which resulted in this good news!
