This weekend should be a great one for Greenburgh families who enjoy having fun! The Friends of the Greenburgh Library are holding their annual book sale this weekend. Doors open Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, September 26 from 10 AM to 5 PM. I have attached the flyer promoting the sale.
According to Rivertownsguide.com the village of Hastings is sponsoring FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE tomorrow night (Friday). It’s a block party from Warburton Ave in Hastings from 7 pm to 10 pm – in honor of the fire department. Friday night live is always lots of fun---great entertainment, vendors. Check out the restaurants. Guaranteed fun for the kids!
Saturday – the Hastings fire department parade at 1:30 PM. It’s a county wide parade. If you enjoy parades, this will be among the best. This is the 140th anniversary of Protection Engine Co No 1. A few hundred firefighter’s will be marching with the Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
Want to have fun while helping the William L Carter Foundation raise funds to help our youth with scholarships and mentoring programs? The William L. Carter Foundation is holding two basketball games on Saturday, September 24th from 7 PM. The Theodore Young Community Center in Greenburgh will be playing the Nepperhan Community Center.
