TRAFFIC CONGESTION WARNING…TRIMMING, TREE CUTTING ON SPRAIN ROAD
SPRAIN ROAD PREPARATION FOR SIDEWALK BEGINNING THIS WEEK WITH TREE CUTTING, TRIMMING—three new sidewalks should be constructed within the next month/ month and a half on Seely, Fort Hill Road and Sprain Road. Town crews are preparing for the sidewalk on Sprain. During the next few weeks they will be clearing trees and doing significant trimming on Sprain between the hours of 7 AM and 3 PM.  I spoke with town staff and asked if most of the work could start after 8:30 AM so people could get to work on time. After 8:30 AM –expect delays, especially beginning next week. Utility poles will also be removed before construction takes place. Sprain Road will also be repaved during this process.
