A FEW HUNDRED VETERANS EXPECTED THIS THURSDAY ---OUR ANNUAL VETERANS BARBEQUE IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29th AT 5 PM to 8 PM AT A.F. VETERAN TOWN PARK, HEATHERDELL ROAD, ARDSLEY.
If you are a veteran –you’re invited to join a few hundred local heroes at our annual veterans barbeque celebration this Thursday, September 29 at 5 PM to 8 PM at AF Veteran park on Heatherdell Road, Ardsley.
Besides getting a chance to interact with fellow veterans and public officials – there will be lots of delicious food. And, the cost is FREE! Among sponsors: Atria Woodlands, Marriott and Shoprite.
If your son or daughter is interested in a pursuing a career in the military or an appointment to West Point or another military academy this could be a great opportunity to chat with veterans and those who have some knowledge about the military.

PS: The soon to be completed veterans memorial park on East Hartsdale Ave (across from the Hartsdale train station) is starting to look beautiful. Two new trees will be planted within the next few weeks. We’re planning to remove a pole and will be doing some landscaping. The park will be dedicated on Veterans day at 2 PM.
