Meeting:Glenville Woods...live streaming of Twn Bd
Release Date: August 10, 2005

I will propose a resolution at the August 17th meeting of the Town Board authorizing live streaming of Town Board, Planning & Zoning Board meetings on the internet. Currently, meetings are streamed and are archived on our web site (www.greenburghny.com). But, they are not live. Residents of Greenburgh who do not subscribe to cablevision or who are out of town cannot watch our Town Board meetings live. If the resolution is approved the meetings will be streamed live –effective September 14th.  The Town Board accepts phone calls from residents during our meetings (dial democracy). Live streaming will enable those who are out of town to participate in meetings from anywhere around the world!

We are also hosting a community meeting this coming Monday, August 15th at one of our newest parks: Glenville Woods. The community meeting will begin at 7 PM. This is an opportunity to tour the park, if you have not yet visited the park (with its magnificent trails). And, the meeting will provide town officials with an opportunity to discuss their concerns with residents.  DIRECTIONS: Take Route 119 East and make a left onto White Plains Raod (where the deli is). Make an immediate right and the parking lot will be on the left.
