The response to mail service problems from the district manager/executive
Release Date: February 04, 2017

In recent years I have received many complaints about the postal service. Some residents report that they get mail intended for their neighbors...don't get mail that they depend on (example: medication or bills)...or that mail doesn't get delivered on certain days. Less than two weeks ago I met with the district manager, executive in charge of the Westchester district, United States Postal Service Richard Conte. Mr. Conte arranged for all the local postmasters to also meet with me. They indicated that all the problems forwarded to their offices are given serious attention and followed up on. He also indicated that the postal service is giving additional attention to neighborhoods with reported problems. They have increased staffing as well. The following is a mailing I received from Richard Conte earlier this week.
Feel free to e mail me concerns about the postal service. Each concern will be followed up.
JOB OPENINGS AT POSTAL SERVICE--The Postal Service, according to Mr. Conte, periodically looks to hire new employees. If you are looking for a change in careers the postal service might be of interest.
