ILLEGAL ROOMING HOUSE GETS $14,500 in fines!

This case pertained to an illegal rooming house on 9A in Elmsford.   

On June 15, 2005a fine in the amount of $10,000.00 was imposed upon Cuva, Kashami & Marandi for summonses issued by the building department prior to October 14, 2004.  The address of the property in violation is 172 Saw Mill River Road.  On August 17, 2005an agreement was reached regarding the additional Cuva, Kashami & Marandi summonses issued by the building department after October 14, 2004.  The fine imposed for the summonses issued after October 14, 2004was $4,500.00.   Therefore, the total amount of the fines in the Cuva, Kashami, Marandi case is currently $14,500.00. In each instance Justice Doris Friedman presided.
