I am pleased to report that Dr. Bishop Wilbert Preston has agreed to serve as chairperson of a Greenburgh committee to help the victims of hurricane Katrina. Many Greenburgh residents want to help the victims rebuild their lives. Residents who would like to join the committee or help in any way are invited to e mail Paul Feiner @ pfeiner@greenburghny.com. There are a number of ways that Greenburgh residents will be able to help out---housing a family (without compensation) in your home for a short period of time…donations.  The Greenburgh Town Board will be meeting at 3 PMTuesday to discuss ways the town can help. Bishop Preston has requested that we make available part of the old Town Hall –as a drop off storage location for furniture, clothes, other necessities.  Bishop Preston is also a member of the Greenburgh Housing Authority.
