EILEEN WOODHULL ARCHIVE AND RECORD CENTER

You are invited…to a ceremony dedicating the new Eileen Woodhull Archive and RecordCenterthis Saturday. The ceremony begins at GreenburghTown Hallat 2:30 PM. After the ceremony there will be refreshments.

The Eileen Woodhull Archive and RecordCenterwas made possible through a grant from the NYS Education Department’s Local Government Record Management Improvement Fund. The purpose of the facility is to gather, maintain and preserve the records and history of the town of Greenburghin a centralized location. This is the first time that NYS has ever funded a grant of this nature. 3,000 boxes of records have been moved into a specially renovated space at our GreenburghTown Hall.

Eileen Woodhull, who served as Deputy Town Clerk for Greenburgh for 19 years, worked for the town for 39 years. She passed away earlier this year. She was a dedicated employee, had lots of knowledge about the town and helped thousands of people.
