LOCAL CONCERT TOMORROW-FRIDAY IN HASTINGS TO HELP VICTIMS OF HURRICANE

Local concert tomorrow to help victims of hurricane…Paws Crossed anniversary celebration Sunday…ice cream at Mathnasium

If you would like to help victims of the hurricane you might want to attend the Hastings Cares hurricane relief concert tomorrow—Friday, September 15 from 6 PM to 9 PM at Zinsser Field in Hastings. Featuring Peter Valentine and Deep Pockets. 


Please bring items to donate. All items collected will be packed and delivered to a central location for shipping. Suggested items:

Diapers….water…baby formula (only new, ready made is preferred)…baby food…underwear (new all sizes)…toilet paper…cleaning supplies  (contractor trash bags, mops, brooms, laundry detergent)…work gloves…towels…feminine hygiene products…hygiene items (deodorant, soap, shampoo, toothpaste)…generators (if you can, maybe families or groups can work together on this).

 

Special thanks to local family owned Lynx Transport (AKA 478-Pete) who is generously donating the truck to bring all the supplies to the shipper on Long Island.  Thank you to Joan, Andy and John.

Lisa OReilly is helping to coordinate this effort. in the Hastings on Hudson Recreation department.

PAWS CROSSED DAY ON SUNDAY AT NOON

  Paws Crossed, the no kill animal shelter, is hosting their one year anniversary celebration this Sunday at noon at the shelter in Elmsford on Warehouse Lane.  They do a terrific job

 

Mathnasium of Ardsley-Irvington 875 Saw Mill River Road, Ardsley is holding two ice cream socials:  tonight September 14th from 6:30 pm to 8 PM and Saturday, September 23rd from 1 to 2:30 PM. Enjoy ice cream and learn about their math tutoring services. Let’s help our local businesses succeed!
