TWN BOARD TO RECEIVE PREVIEW PROPOSED 2006 BUDGET

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner will provide members of the Town Board with a preview of highlights of the proposed 2006 budget this Tuesday at 3:30 PM. Feiner is required, by law, to submit his proposed budget to the Town Board by October 31st. However, in an effort to be inclusive the Supervisor hopes to discuss aspects (and options) of the budget in advance of the budget submission. The budget is a legislative issue for the Town Board. The Town Supervisor is required by law to produce the document -but decisions shouldn't be unilateral. I welcome input from the Board members before I submit my propossed 2006 budget to the Board and public. I want the document to be a partnership. The public is invited to attend this Tuesday afternoons work session-discussion at Greenburgh Town Hall.
