I spoke with Hastings Mayor Peter Swiderski and Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney about the incident - a coyote attacked people and killed a dog in the Hastings vicinity. The Greenburgh Animal Control, unit part of the Greenburgh police, have assigned their team to the Hastings area. We are also requesting the help of wildlife specialists to call out the coyotes.  We also have in our possession  a police drone to look for the coyote that was involved in this incident.

We will keep you informed.
