Greenburgh Nature Center to Celebrate Earth Week!

Join the Greenburgh Nature Center at our two FREE events!

Saturday, April 27 from 11 am - 3 pm

In celebration of the successful first year of the Town of Greenburgh’s Food Scrap Recycling

Program, the Nature Center is hosting a Compost Giveback Day! All Greenburgh residents are

welcome to bring their shovels and buckets to collect free finished compost while supplies last.

Event will take place in the Visitor Parking lot at the Nature Center, rain or shine.

Sunday, April 28 from 12 pm - 4 pm

The Nature Center will be hosting its FREE Earth Week Celebration on Sunday, April 28. The

day includes volunteer projects, educational workshops, live music, crafts, and activities. In

celebration of Arbor Day, New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins will be initiating a

tree planting ceremony at the event.

The Earth Week Celebration event is made possible with generous support from Con Edison,

Greenburgh Parks & Recreation, Once Upon a Child Scarsdale, PurePoint Financial, TD Bank,

the Town of Greenburgh, and Westchester County Parks. Event held rain or shine.
