Summer outdoor jazz concert series begins tonight

A FANTASTIC SUMMER JAZZ CONCERT SERIES BEGINS TONIGHT AT YOSEMITE PARK IN BACK OF THE THEODORE YOUNG COMMUNITY CENTER

 

If you love jazz you’ll really enjoy our Thursday night jazz summer concert series. The fun starts tonight. The musicians are exceptionally talented. Enjoy the food that you can purchase and the vendors. If it’s not raining –your kids will love the playground next to the pavilion. Watch some of the sports activities while listening to great music.

The Department of Community Resources is proud to announce the kickoff to the 2019 Summer Jazz Series this evening, July 11th, in Yosemite Park (located behind the Theodore D. Young Community Center).

While rain is in the forecast, we will have an opportunity to be cooled off by the elements as well as the melodious sounds of Maysa Leak!

 

Join us UNDER the William L. Carter Pavilion at 6:30 PM.

 

 

Westchester County is holding a job fair at the Eastview Middle School, 350 Main Street White Plains on Tuesday July 16 from 10 AM to 2 PM.  You don’t have to be a teacher to get a job in the schools. Come learn about all the options available including substitute teachers, clerical, custodial and more.  The county Human Resources department will be in attendance to provide info on civil service testing and applications.  No preregistration required.  Call 995 2501 or e mail rfinizio@westchestergov.com.
