CON ED OUTAGE UPDATE--TZ BRIDGE UPDATE--
Release Date: January 19, 2006

Just spoke to Con Ed representatives about the lack of power around town. They indicated that they hope to have all power restored by Friday night. There were 47,000 people out of power around the county yesterday. As of Thursday morning the number has been reduced to 17,000. In Greenburgh there were 2,000 people out of power yesterday. The number is now 600 (including my condo!). If residents have special needs (seniors, disabled residents) please feel free to contact me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com or 993-1540 (o)/438-1343 (c) and I will  advise you of special services the town provides.

ON ANOTHER MATTER—the next meeting of the Greenburgh Town Board is next Wednesday, January 25th at 7:15 PM. Michael Anderson of the NYS DOT will make a presentation at the beginning of the meeting updating the Town Board about the Tappan Zee bridge alternatives under consideration.  It’s important that residents pay attention to the various options and make their opinions known –before a final decision is made by state officials.

I will also be releasing my 2006 goals at the next meeting of the Town Board. I base $5000 of my salary on implementation of the goals.
