CABLE TV COMPETITION HEARING TO BE SET FOR AUG 9

The Greenburgh Town Board will hold a special meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 6 PM at Town Hall. Among the scheduled votes: setting a public hearing for Wednesday, August 9 to consider a cable franchise agreement between Verizon and Greenburgh. The hearing will be scheduled for 7:15 PM at Town Hall. If the Town Board approves the agreement - Verizon will compete with Cablevision for cable TV services. The Board will also schedule a hearing for Wednesday, August 9th on the proposed amended site plan application for the expanded Greenburgh Public Library.
