SERIOUS CRIME HIT A NEW HISTORIC LOW IN 2006
Release Date: January 15, 2007

Serious crime keeps going down.  Chief Kapica just released his 2006 report which indicated that 2006 saw the fewest number of part I (serious crimes) in the 24 year history of the police department for which the department has access to these records. The chief also reported that calls statistics for the department slightly increased over 2005 numbers (36,292 vs 36.139). Great work! A great department.
