RESULTS OF COLUMBIA AVENUE SNOW PARKING SURVEY

During the week of March 5th, police officers hand delivered a survey to Columbia Avenue residents soliciting their input as to whether their street should be included in any change to the Snow Parking Regulations that may be proposed for East Hartsdale Avenue.  A self-addressed, postage paid envelope was included with the survey and residents were asked to return the completed document by the close of business on March 16th.  Following are the results of that survey.

Number of Surveys Distributed                                      93

Number of Households Required for Inclusion                 61 (66% of 93)

Number of Surveys Returned                                         42 (45% of total)

Number of Surveys for Inclusion                                    23 (17 from 1-11 Columbia)

Number of Surveys Against Inclusion                             19 

In light of these results, Columbia Avenue will NOT be included in any change to the

Snow Parking Regulations that may be proposed for East Hartsdale Avenue.
