You are invited...to help plan a new Jazz Concert series on East Hartsdale Ave (DeSanti Plaza). I met with Mark Morganelli of Jazz Forum Arts yesterday and with UniStar Federal Credit Union (which plans to open an office on East Hartsdale Ave. They have agreed to sponsor the concert series. We have scheduled a preliminary community steering committee meeting on Thursday, April 24th at 6:15 PM at their new storefront on E Hartsdale Ave, adjacent to the Metro North station in Hartsdale. Among possibilities: eight Saturday afternoon concerts at DeSanti Plaza (during the farmer's market) from 12 noon to 2 PM. We need volunteers. We need suggestions. We need marketing ideas. We need your input. This could be a very exciting initiative that will make East Hartsdale Ave an even more fun place to visit.
