Free! Greenburgh’s Green Living Fair Saturday, April 28

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Town of Greenburgh presents exhibitors on saving energy (and money) in your home or business, solar energy, vegetable-oil and biodiesel fuels, hybrid vehicles, ride-sharing programs, green building products, buying “green power” from clean energy sources, what you can do to combat global warming, and more. Energy-efficient light bulbs and books on sustainable living topics will be for sale. Book signing 1 to 2 p.m. by award-winning New York Times environmental reporter and author Andy Revkin.

 

Fair will include a Be Cool Room Air Conditioner Turn-in Event:  Residential and multifamily customers of Con Edison electric service can turn in an old, working room air conditioner and become eligible to earn a cash bounty when they purchase a new ENERGY STAR® qualified model (see www.GetEnergySmart.org  for Be Cool details).
