GOOD NEWS FOR DOG OWNERS--BD APPROVES FUNDS FOR DOG PARK
Release Date: May 10, 2007

The Greenburgh Town Board unanimously approved the 2007 capital budget which includes $487,000 in funding for E Rumbrook Park, one of Greenburgh's most heavily used outdoor active recreation facilities in the town's park system. E Rumbrook is located off of Dobbs Ferry Road.
Among the initiatives being funded is a dog park. For many years dog owners have expressed a desire to have a dog park --similar to the dog parks that exist in other localities. Last year the Town Board pledged to build a dog park at E Rumbrook. On May 9th the Town Board approved funding for improvements at E Rumbrook (which will include a dog park).
The dog park should be open sometime in the fall of 2007.
